Pleasure Corp is a LIVE ONLY project from the synergetic and electro-bred duo Shawn Cartier & Dufraine. The pair unite under a vision to bring emotion to the forefront of dance music whilst representing their art in cyborg-esque caricatures.
The duo has already received support from Ben UFO, Emerald, Two Shell and a swathe of flagship DJs across both sides of the channel on Rinse FM.
Taking inspiration from Juan Atkins, Kraftwerk and Daft Punk – Pleasure Corp’s soundscapes are splattered with classically inspired machine-funk bass/melodics; and colorful and eerie arpeggiations; weaved with emotionally charged vocal narratives tying the knots to an endearing yet quirky atmosphere that is certain to keep you guessing.
